Position :- Cath Lab Technician

Qualification :- Degree or Diploma in Lab Technology. Bsc (MLT) or DMLT

Experience :- 0 – 5 years

Job Location :- Bhopal

Job Description :- 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Assist physicians during invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular (diagnostic / therapeutic) procedures in the Cath lab
•  Coordinates appropriate documentation for procedures.
• Follows laid down procedures so as to ensure patient safety.
• Explains the procedures prerequisites to the patient and prepares him/her for the procedures.
• Arranges the accessories or equipment, hardware according to the procedure.
• Maintains the procedure register, CD register and hands over the complete CD to the patient / attendant as required.
• Ensure Regular proper maintenance, cleaning of instruments and equipments including radiation safety devices.
• Ensures compliance to laid down Radiation safety measures
• Ensures that all sterile items are checked regularly for breach of sterility and expiry, stored appropriately and handled appropriately.
• Possesses knowledge of infection control and waste management.
• Ensures that all devices used in patient care are cleaned, decontaminated and sterilized according to departmental protocols and records maintained.
• Ensures JCI compliance in accordance with departmental requirements.

• Degree or Diploma in Lab Technology. Bsc (MLT) or DM
