Artillery Centre Hyderabad Recruitment :

Artillery Centre, Hyderabad was raised on 15 August 1962 as the Second Recruit Training Centre for the Regiment of Artillery. The Centre was initially raised with three Training Regiments with a designed capacity to train 3000 recruits. The Centre then was commanded by a Colonel. The first Commandant was Col Gurpartap Singh. The present Commandant, Brigadier Jaydeep Yadav, assumed command on 03 October 2020.

The Centre is located in and around the historic Golconda Fort. Gunners passing out from the portals of Artillery Centre, Hyderabad have excelled themselves in discharging various operations, training and administrative responsibilities. The Centre was awarded the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Command Unit Appreciation on 15 August 2008 for its significant contribution in various spheres of activity, especially in the conduct of 4th CISM Military World Games in October 2007.

Qualification :- 

Draughtsman:

• Matriculation or equivalent qualification from recognized university. Diploma in Draughtsmanship from recog­nized institution/ universities.

Multi Tasking Staff (Lascar):

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from recog­nized Board.

Boot Maker :

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from recog­nized Board. Should be able to carry out all canvas, textile and leather repair and replacement of the equip­ment and boots.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500/ 9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Multi Tasking Staff (Watchman):

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board.

Experience :- Freshers

Age Limit :-

• UR – 18 – 25 years
• OBC – 18 – 28 years
• SC – 18 – 30 years

Salary :-  Rs.18000 – 81100/-

Selection Process :-

• Appointing authority reserves the right to reject the candidature of a candidate for written test /skill test. The candidates to be called for the written test and skill test shall be short listed, by applying all or any of the slated norms.
• The question papers of all written tests will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. Date of Written Test / Skill Test will be intimated to eligible candidates separately. Examination will be conducted at Hyderabad (Telangana) only. Syllabus & other instructions for written examination for the posts is as follows:-

 Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Bootmaker & Draughtsman:

• General intelligence, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness.

MTS(Lascar & Watchman):

• General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 Questions, 25 Marks.
• Numerical Aptitude 25 Questions, 25 Marks.
• General English – 50 Questions, 50 Marks.
• General Awareness 50 Questions, 50 Marks.

Instructions:

• Skill Test. For LDC Skill Test will be taken on computer and for others as applicable/. Skill test will be of qualifying in nature. Time Allowed 2 Hours, Time allowed (visually handicapped) 2 hours 20 minutes (MTS only).Negative Marking : 0.25 marks for each wrong answer (MTS only).
