Position :- MEP SP3D Designer

Qualification :-

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI/ NCTVT – Mechanical Draftsman.

Experience :-

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial/commercial/Oil & Gas projects fire protection design, development of general arrangement drawings, sprinkler layouts, piping layouts, Riser drawings, fire alarm drawings etc. using 3D or 2D design tools.
• Working knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, International Mechanical Code, International Fire Code, International Building code, NFPA etc.) used in Food and Consumer Industry, Manufacturing, Industrial and Commercial projects.

Job Description :- 

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Modeling and 2D drafting of MEP, piping and general arrangement drawings using Smart Plant 3D and AutoCAD to produce construction deliverables in 2D format.

Experience in following:

Plant Design System (SP3D):

• Equipment modelling.
• Piping Designer.
• Project Administrator.
• Drawing Manager.
• Isometric Drawing Manager.

 Piping Engineering:

• Scope of piping engineering.
• Codes and standards.
• Piping component and specialties.
• Development of Plot Plan.
• Equipment and Piping layout.
• Isometric Drawings & BOM.
• Responsible for coordinating assigned scope of work with other disciplines to generate a clash free design.
• Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by closely working with discipline lead engineer.
• A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.

Tools:

• 3D Tools: Smart Plant 3D is Must and Knowledge of REVIT, and AutoCAD MEP is a plus.
• 2D Tools:AutoCAD. Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
• Coordination Tools: Navisworks o Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote

Key Skills:

• MEP designer, MEP draftsman. Piping design.
