CVRDE has expertise in the development of systems viz. hull, turret, mechanical systems, engine, transmission, running gear systems, armament systems, gun control systems, fire control system, electrical and electronic systems (Vetronics) and related technologies. CVRDE has capabilities in system integration & field evaluation of various AFVs and its systems.

• Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) – 20 Posts
• Draughtsman (Mechanical) – 08 Posts

• Electronics – 10 Post
• Fitter – 35 Posts
• Machinist – 12 Posts
• Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) – 05 Post
• Painter – 02 Post

Educational Qualification:-

• Candidates should have passed out from the ITI duly recognized by NCVT as per Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with minimum two years duration except for the Computer Operator And Programming Assistant (Copa), Painter, Plumber And Welder

Experience: –  Freshers

Age Limit (As on 01/09/2022): –

• Minimum Age – 18 years.
• Maximum Age – 27 years for UR, 30 years for OBC, 32 years for SC / ST, 37 years for PWD

Salary: –

• For COPA, Painter, Plumber & Welder – Rs. 7700/- per month
• For Other Trades – Rs. 8050/- per month

Job Location: – Chennai

Selection Process CVRDE Recruitment: –

• ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection under candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam (ITI) followed by Screening test/Interview.
• Details of shortlisted candidates for Interview will be intimated through email & SMS. Candidates are advised to check regularly for exact date and time of interview/screening test.
• Screening test/ Interview (or) both will be conducted at CVRE, Chennai for ITI Apprentices as per dates sent through mail & SMS. CVRE
