About Deendayal Port Trust: Deendayal Port Trust is a seaport in Kutch District of Gujarat state in Western India, near the city of Gandhidham. Located on the Gulf of Kutch, it is one of major ports on the west coast. Kandla was constructed in the 1950s as the chief seaport serving Western India, due to the partition of India leaving the port of Karachi in Pakistan. The Port of Kandla is located on the Gulf of Kutch on the northwestern coast of India, some 256 nautical miles southeast of the Port of Karachi in Pakistan and over 430 nautical miles north-northwest of the Port of Mumbai.

 Qualification :- 

Trade Apprentice:

• ITI (NCVT / SCVT) in respective trade.

 Graduate Apprentice:

• Regular – Degree Engineering in respective field.

Secretarial Assistant:

• Graduation Degree [B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com.] (on Regular basis)

Technician Apprentice:

• Regular – Diploma Engineering in respective discipline.

Experience :- Freshers

Age Limit :-

• Below 28 years (as on 30/11/2021) in respect of any of the trades / disciplines mentioned above.
• The reservation in respect of the SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PH / Ex. Serv. will be as per the norms of the Apprentices Act, 1961 & amendments published from time to time.
• Valid Certificate will be verified w.r.t. claim for the reservation [SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / P.H. / Ex.Serv.] at the time of document verification.

Salary :-

• Graduate Apprentice – Rs.7700 – 9000/-
• Technician Apprentice – Rs.8000/-
• Trade Apprentice- Rs.9000/-

Selection Process :-

• Eligible candidates will be provisionally selected on merit basis. The merit will be prepared on the basis of ‘Sum of marks obtained in all semesters / years’ and ‘Sum of total (maximum) marks in all semesters / year’.
• If CGPA / C.P. / Grade / Scale / Point or other nomenclature is mentioned in the curriculum, then the same is to be converted into the Percentage Score as per the rules and shall be inserted (out of Maximum Marks i.e. 100).
