Job Description :- 

• ay be responsible for recruitment, interviewing and selection of staff for the BMT department.
• Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
• Provides for professional growth and development of unit staff through identification of needs, sponsoring training programs, encouraging education (formal and continuing) efforts and evaluation of it.
• Responsible for completion of regular performance evaluations for each
• staff member; conducts evaluations for new staff prior to completion of probationary period in accordance with set protocols (NQIP)
• Counsels employees, develops staff and, as appropriate, utilizes the disciplinary process.
• Plans and maintains staffing pattern for the unit in order to ensure that
• the patient’s need for continuity of care and level of care is maintained
• Responsible for safety and comfort of patients, and the health and safety of employees assigned to the ICU.
