Organisation Name: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)

Company which had its origin as Hindustan Aircraft Limited was incorporated on 23 Dec 1940 at Bangalore by Shri Walchand Hirachand, a farsighted visionary, in association with the then Government of Mysore, with the aim of manufacturing aircraft in India. In March 1941, the Government of India became one of the shareholders in the Company and subsequently took over its management in 1942. In collaboration with the Inter Continental Aircraft Company of USA, the Company commenced its business of manufacturing of Harlow Trainer, Curtiss Hawk Fighter and Vultee Bomber Aircraft.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, Bangalore is conducting the selection drive to engage Ex-ITI (CTS passed candidates) to undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of ONE YEAR under National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) administered by Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), Bangalore.

Qualification:

• Candidate shall passed CTS (ITI examination) from a Karnataka Govt. recognized ITI/ITC in any of the trade indicated.
• Candidates who have undergone /undergoing / already registered NAPS contract under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible.
• Candidates with work experience of one or more years are not eligible.

Trades in CTS (ITI):

• Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, COPA, Foundry-man, Sheet Metal Worker, Tool & Die Maker, Electrician Advanced CNC Machining,

Experience: Freshers

Age Limit: as per Apprenticeship Act  

Salary:

• Stipend of Rs.7000/ to Rs.7700/- per month depending on trade will be paid for 12 months of training. In addition subsidized canteen facility is available.
