Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang was established in the year of 1982 and was managed directly by the Govt. of Odisha in the name of Odisha College of Engineering (OCE). Prior to this, since 1981, the institute in the name of Modern Polytechnic (MPT) was offering Diploma Courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining Survey Engineering.In the year 1987, both OCE & MPT were merged and renamed as IGIT, Sarang and the management was transferred to an Autonomous Society. Presently, the Institute is offering nine Under Graduate Engineering courses in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical..

Graduate Apprentice:

• Mechanical Engineering – 02 Posts
• Civil Engineering – 01 Post
• Electrical Engineering – 01 Post
• Chemical Engineering – 01 Post
• Metallurgical Engineering – 01 Post

Technician Apprentice:

• Mechanical Engineering – 02 Posts
• Civil Engineering – 01 Post
• Electrical Engineering – 01 Post
• Chemical Engineering – 01 Post
• Electronic Engineering – 01 Post

Qualification :- 

• The fresh pass-out candidates (passing their B. E / B. Tech / Diploma courses in 2019, 2020, 2021) only can apply as per rules and regulations of NATS. Candidate with postgraduation are not eligible to apply.

Experience :- Freshers

Age Limit :-

• Must possess minimum age, educational and physical qualification prescribed for the trade as per the Apprenticeship Act rules and regulations.

Salary :-

• Graduate Apprentice – Rs.9,000/month
• Technician Apprentice – Rs.8,000/month

Job Location :-  Sarang

Selection Process :-

• The selection process will be based on the performance in Interview.
• Shortlisted candidates will have interview on 22 December 2020 at Respective department of IGIT, Sarang
