Qualification/ Experience:

• Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS

Age Limit:

• Minimum age:18 years
• Maximum age:40 years

Relaxations in upper age limit:

• Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) – 5 Years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) – 03 Years

Salary:

• BPM – Rs.12,000-29,380 /-
• ABPM/Dak Sevak – Rs.10,000-24,470/-

• The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system generated merit list.
• The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks (as explained in sub paras – iii to ix below) in Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.

Qualification/ Experience: –

• A certificate in the respective trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Govt. OR VIll Std. passed with experience of one year in the respective trade.
• Candidate who applies for the post of Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) should possess a valid Driving Licence to drive Heavy Vehicles.

Age Limit ( As on 01 July 2023 ): –  18 – 30 years

• Relaxable 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), for Government Servants upto 35 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government and for Ex-Serviceman up to a maximum of 3 years [08 ( 3 + 5 ) years for ST] after deduction of the Military Service rendered from the actual age.
