ARCI’s mandate relates to the fact that application oriented R&D is carried out and is industry centric. To ensure that multi-disciplinary inputs can be readily harnessed for any of its targeted development efforts, ARCI has formed Centres of Excellence (COEs) in many generic thrust areas related to materials and materials processing, like nanomaterials, ceramics, engineered coatings, fuel cells, carbon materials, sol-gel coatings, laser materials processing, solar energy materials and automotive energy materials. Each of these COEs has been involved in the development of advanced materials-based technologies pertaining to their core expertise.

ARCI has been undertaking numerous sponsored projects with a variety of government agencies to develop specific products and/or associated technologies, besides carrying out contract research for both foreign and Indian companies. ARCI has also been carrying out basic R&D work, especially in collaboration with renowned institutes/laboratories worldwide.

Qualification/ Experience:

Assistant ‘A’:

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with good academic record, or equivalent
• Should have passed Lower grade English short-hand with a speed of taking dictation at 80 wpm and Higher grade English Typewriting with a speed of 45 wpm from a recognized Board/Institute.
• Three (3) years of experience in Administration/Human Resource/Finance & Accounts/Stores & Purchase/ Secretarial works in Government Departments/Academic/Scientific Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Research laboratories.

Desirable Skills/Proficiency for Assistant “A:

• MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma with specialization in Personnel Management/HRD/HRM/ Financial Management/Materials Management.
• Knowledge of Central Government Administrative/Financial/Stores & Purchase Rules & Regulations.
• In case of Secretarial works: Candidate shall be computer savvy with data entry skills, preparation of presentations (PPTs), good working knowledge in MS office and internet browsing.
• In case of Desktop publishing: Candidate shall have completed a basic course in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) with atleast one year experience in creation and layout design of various graphics for print and social media.

Technical Assistant ‘A’:

• Sc. in Physical Sciences (Chemistry as one of the subjects) OR Three (3) years full time Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Metallurgical Engg. from a recognized University/recognized Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government.

Technical:

• Matriculation/10th pass
• 2 years full-time ITI in Welder/Turner/Electrician trade from a recognized Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government
• 3 years technical experience in Industry/R&D laboratories.

 Age Limit:

• Assistant ‘A’ – : Not exceeding 28 years (relaxable upto 35 years, in case of deserving Government employees and employees of Scientific Organizations)
• Technical Assistant ‘A’: Not exceeding 30 years
• Technical – : Not exceeding 28 years

 Salary:

• Assistant ‘A’ – 57,960/- approximately
• Technical Assistant ‘A’ – 69,120/- approximately
• Technical – 51,300/- approximately

Job Location:  Hyderabad

 Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on a Computer Test, Aptitude Test, Document Verification, & Medical Examination.
