Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 

Kochi Water Metro Project – is an integrated Water Transport System that was envisaged with the objective of connecting the mainland with the islands, around the Kochi lagoon, through Modern Water Transport system. The primary aim is improving connectivity of people and thereby improving their livelihood and standard of living. The project is conceived as an environmental friendly, modern urban transport system with 15 identified routes over 76 km of route length.

As per the Project Report, (being funded by KfW, Germany and Govt. of Kerala), on completion, with a fleet of 78 boats and 38 terminals, Kochi Water Metro Project would be the second largest water transport system next to only Venice.

• Fleet Manager (Operations) –  01 Post
• Fleet Manager (Maintenance) – 01 Post
• Manager (Finance) –  01 Post
• Boat Operations – Trainee  – 50 Posts

Qualification/ Experience: –  

Fleet Manager (Operations):

• Degree/Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.
• MEO Class 1 or Master Certificate (FG).
• Experience  – 12 Years’ Experience. (after acquiring Degree/Diploma).
• Preferably on board ship experience as Master/Chief Engineer.

Fleet Manager (Maintenance):

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Naval Architecture.
• MEO Class 1 or Master Certificate (FG).
• Experience – Minimum 12 years (after acquiring Degree/Diploma) of shipyard experience or Operation & Maintenance experience on Board Ships.

Manager (Finance):

• CA/ICWA.
• Experience – Minimum 5 Years experience in Finance/Accounts.
• Cost & Budgetary Control, Working Capital Management etc. in Public Sector Undertakings or in large and reputed private companies.
• Training experience will not be counted.

Boat Operations – Trainee:

• Minimum 60% marks in ITI / Diploma in (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics).
• Last 3 years pass out only (ie, 2020 ,2021,2022).

Age Limit: –  

• Fleet Manager (Operations)  – 56 Years
• Fleet Manager (Maintenance)  – 56 Years
• Manager (Finance)  – 50 Years
• Boat Operations – Trainee  –  28 Years

.Salary: –

• Fleet Manager (Operations) –  Rs 1,00,000/-
• Fleet Manager (Maintenance) –  Rs 1,00,000/-
• Manager (Finance) –  Rs 50,000/-
• Boat Operations – Trainee  – Rs 9,000/-
