• Carry out Service and maintenance routines.
• Defect analysis and rectification.
• Installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshooting.

TMIPL is the sole authorized service center for MAN (Nurnberg, Germany) marine high speed engines , Nanni Diesel (France) marine power generation sets, Hypro Marine (UK) steering control systems, Poly Flex (Australia) anti vibrations mounts, Gali, Elgi Sauer Compressor and disc couplings etc.

Position: – Sales & Service Engineer

Qualification: – Bachelors Degree or Diploma or ITI – Mechanical Engineering or related field required

Experience: – 5 – 7 years

Job Location: – Kochi/Cochin, Mumbai, Coimbatore

Salary: – Rs. 4,00,000 – 6,00,000 P.A.

Job Description: – 

Roles and Responsibilities: –

Identify potential customers and projects

• Generate high-quality sales leads
• Follow up after initial contact
• Secure new orders and renew repeat orders
• Negotiate prices
• Complete sales
• Arrange deliveries
• Diagnosis of defects mechanical, electrical and controls
• Commissioning of new engines and or post overhauling
• Alignment of engine, gearbox and propeller shaft
• Achieve customer satisfaction and generate new service & spares business revenue
• Communicate effectively to Management, Clients & Vendors through mail, phone or in-person

Desired Candidate Profile: –

• Experience in sales / service of Marine equipment.
• Cummins marine or genset engines
• Caterpillar / Scania / MTU / Volvopenta
• Gearbox / propulsion shafting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with project management solutions
• Good networking with Public Shipyards & Boat Builders
