Company which had its origin as Hindustan Aircraft Limited was incorporated on 23 Dec 1940 at Bangalore by Shri Walchand Hirachand, a farsighted visionary, in association with the then Government of Mysore, with the aim of manufacturing aircraft in India. In March 1941, the Government of India became one of the shareholders in the Company and subsequently took over its management in 1942. In collaboration with the Inter Continental Aircraft Company of USA, the Company commenced its business of manufacturing of Harlow Trainer, Curtiss Hawk Fighter and Vultee Bomber Aircraft.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, Bangalore is conducting the selection drive to engage Ex-ITI (CTS passed candidates) to undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of ONE YEAR under National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) administered by Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), Bangalore.

Qualification:
- Assistant (Admin)/Assistant (Accounts:
- Regular/ Full Time Master Degree in Commerce (MA/M.Sc. /M.Com) with relevant certificates of proficiency in PC Operations (Minimum of 3 months duration)
Operator (Draughtsman Mechanical)/Operator (Fitter)/Operator (Instrumentation Mechanic)/Operator (Electrician)/Operator (Grinder)/Operator (Welder)/Operator (Electroplater)/Operator (Grinder):
- NAC (3 Years) or ITI (2 Years) + NAC/NCTVT (1 Year) Relevant Trade
Salary:
- Assistant – Rs.23000 – 95000/-
- Operator – Rs.22000-90000/-
Age Limit (As on 15 September 2024):
- For UR & EWS-28 years
- For SC/ST-33 years
- For OBC (Non-creamy layer)-31 years. Candidates belonging to OBC (NCL) category are required to submit OBC certificate not older than six months as on 15/09/2024
