SRO PROPULSION COMPLEX (IPRC), formerly known as Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre, Mahendragiri (LPSC-M), is located near Kanyakumari at Mahendragiri Hills, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu. It is the major testing hub of ISRO’s liquid propulsion systems. The role of IPRC is to carry out research for the development of liquid propulsion systems both for satellites and satellite launch vehicles. IPRC is equipped with state of the art facilities for the assembly, integration and testing of liquid propulsion systems. It is responsible for the development, qualification and acceptance testing of sub-systems and systems for launch vehicles and spacecraft projects.

Before qualifying an engine through hot test, its subsystems are qualified by conducting cold flow tests by using water or simulant fluids. For this cold flow test facilities are established. Apart from this, facilities are established to test/simulate upper stage rocket engines and thrusters/liquid apogee motors of satellites in vacuum environment. These facilities are also used for developing propulsion systems for inter-planetary missions.

• Civil – 1 Post

• Qualification: – 
• Mechanical: 
• First Class Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering.

Electronics:

• First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering (or) Electronics & Communication Engineering (or) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (or) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

Electrical:

• First Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Computer Science:

• First Class Diploma in Computer Science (or) Computer Science & Engineering (or) Computer Technology.

Civil:

• First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Technician ‘B’: Fitter:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Fitter Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Electronic Mechanic:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Electronic Mechanic (or) Instrument Mechanic Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Welder:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Welder Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Refrigerator & ACL:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Mechanic Refrigeration & AC Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Electrician:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Electrician Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Plumber:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Plumber Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Draughtsman ‘B’:

Civil:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th std and ITI in Draughtsman Civil Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC.

Heavy Vehicle Driver:

• Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Tamil Nadu State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining the post.
• 5 years experience out of which 3 years as HVD(should be acquired after obtaining valid HVD license)

.Light Vehicle Driver:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
• Must possess a valid LVD license
• Must possess a Public Service Badge 
• Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Tamil Nadu State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining the post.
• 3 years experience as LVD(should be acquired after obtaining a valid LVD license.

Fireman ‘A’:

• Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
• Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness Standards.

Experience: – Fresher/Experienced

Salary: – Rs.19, 900 to 1,42,400/-per month
