Qualification:

Senior Section Engineer:

• Four years Bachelor’s Degree in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics Engineering OR
• a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics Engineering froma recognized university / institute approved by AICTE.

Technician-III:

• Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician/Wireman/Mechanic (HT, LT Equipment andCable Jointing) Electronics echanic OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.

Assistant Loco Pilot:

• Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter /Heat Engine / nstrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman
• Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

Senior Section Engineer:

• Four years Bachelor’s Degree in (a) Civil Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognised university /Institute approved by AICTE.

Track Maintainer:

• 10th pass from a recognised board

Technician-III:

• Matriculation /SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Repair and Maintenance of Heavy Vehicles) Mechanic Automobile (Advanced Diesel Engine) / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)/ Tractor Mechanic /Welder / Painter (OR) Matriculation /SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.

Station Maste:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

Good Train Manager:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.

Points Man:

• 10th pass from a recognised board

ESTM-III:

• Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Wireman OR Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above OR 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths

Commercial Supervisor:

• Graduation from recognised university in any discipline

Experience:  Freshers

Age Limit: 18 to 36 years

Age relaxation:

• SC & ST candidates – 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates – 3 Years
• Ex-servicemen with at least six months of continuous service after attestation – 6 to 8 Years

Salary:

• Senior Section Engineer: Level 7 Initial Pay Rs. 44900/- per month
• Technician-III: Level 2 Initial Pay Rs. 19900/- per month
• Assistant Loco Pilot: Level 2 Initial Pay Rs. 19900/- per month
• Track Maintainer: Level 1 Initial Pay Rs. 18000/- per month
• Station Master: Level 6 Initial Pay Rs. 35400/- per month
• Good Train Manager: Level 5 Initial Pay Rs. 29200/- per month
• Points Man: Level 1 Initial Pay Rs. 18000/- per month
• ESTM-III (S&T): Level 2 Initial Pay Rs. 19900/- per month
• Commercial Supervisor: Level 6 Initial Pay Rs. 35400/- per month
