KPSC Recruitment : Prior to 1921, there was no central authority in the state to advise the government and other recruiting authorities on matters of appointment to the state’s civil services. Government and recruiting officers have been following the principles of government from time to time. Order No. 1827: 80 EAG308 Date: 16-05-1921 The Government for the first time designated the Recruitment Center as the “Central Recruitment Board”. This board was in the 1940s with the Office of the Ministry of Government. The Government appointed its Public Service Commissioner on 19-01-1940 on its Order No. 3685-3735- CB 103-39-1.

KPSC Recruitment :

The Lokasewa Commission was created under the provisions of the Constitution of India on 18-05-1951. In terms of clause 14 of the Public Service Commission n Rules 1950 , the Public Service Commissioner’s staff from 18-05-1951 continued to be the staff center of the Llokaseva Commission.

Qualification :- 

Junior Engineer (Civil):

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering (Draughtsmanship)

Junior Health Inspector:

• SSLC, PUC, Diploma in Sanitary Health Inspector/Health Inspector

Electrician Grade-1:

• SSLC, Two years course in Electrical trade from an Industrial Training Institute, One year Apprenticeship training in any Industry resulting in National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)

Electrician Grade-2:

• SSLC, Two years course in Electrical trade from an Industrial Training Institute

Water Supply Operator:

• SSLC, ITI Certificate in Electrical or Fitter Trade from an Industrial Training Institute

Assistant Water Supply Operator:

• SSLC, Two years course in Electrical or Fitter Trade from an Industrial Training Institute

Experience :- Freshers

Age Limit :-

• As per the Karnataka Public Service Commission Recruitment Notification, Candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years and Maximum of 35 years, as on 29-Apr-2022.

Age Relaxation:-

• SC/ST/Cat-I Candidates: 05 years
• Cat-2A/2B/3A & 3B Candidates: 03 years
• PWD/Widow Candidates: 10 years
