Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, aptly called “Ship Builder to the Nation”, is one of India’s leading Defence public sector undertaking shipyard under the Ministry of Defence. Main activities are construction of warships and submarines with facilities situated at Mumbai and Nhava (under development).

• Draftsman (Mechanical) – 31 Posts
• Electrician – 32 Posts
• Fitter – 53 Posts
• Pipe Fitter – 55 Posts
• Structural Fitter – 57 Posts

Group ‘B’ (ITI Passed) Vacancies:

• Fitter Structural (Ex. ITI Fitter) – 50 Posts
• Draftsman (Mechanical) – 15 Posts
• Electrician – 25 Posts
• ICTSM – 20 Posts
• Electronic Mechanic – 30 Posts
• RAC – 10 Posts
• Pipe Fitter – 20 Posts
• Welder – 25 Posts
• COPA (Computer) – 15 Posts
• Carpenter – 30 Posts

Group ‘C’ (8th Class Passed) – Non ITI Vacancies:

• Rigger – 30 Posts
• Welder (Gas & Electric) – 30 Posts

Qualification:

• For Group A (10th class Passed) Non-ITI Posts: The candidate should have Passed SSC / 10th Class / Matric.
• Group B (ITI Passed) Posts: ITI passed in relevant trade – Fitter / Electrician /ICTSM / Electronic Mechanic/ Plumber / Welder / For Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Carpenter / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC) trades from Govt./ Govt recognized Institute.
• For Group C (8th Class Passed) Posts: 8th Standard under10+2 system passed with  Science& Mathematics.Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /EWS / DIVYANG,/ AFC, Pass Class for SC/ST Only.

Age Limit:

• For Group A (10th class Passed) Non ITI Posts: 15 to 19 years
• For Group B (ITI Passed) Posts: 16 to 21 years
• For Group C (8th Class Passed) Posts: 14 to 18 years

Age Relaxation:

• Upper age limit relaxation will be given by 5 yrs. for SC/ST, 3 yrs. for OBC and 10 yrs. for DIVYANG as per Govt. Rules, Subject to submission of relevant Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

Salary:

• Group A (10th class Passed) Non-ITI Posts: Rs.3000/- per month for First 03 Months, ₹ 6000/- per month for Next 09 Months, Rs. 6600/- per month for 2nd Year.
• Group B (ITI Passed) Posts: Rs. 8050 / 7700/- per month.
• Group C (8th Class Passed) Posts: Rs. 2500/- per month for First 03 Months, Rs.5000/- per month for Next 09 Months, Rs. 5500/- per month for 2nd Year.
