About WCR :- The newly carved West Central Railway Zone with its headquarters at Jabalpur comprises of Jabalpur and Bhopal divisions of erstwhile Central Railway and Kota division of erstwhile Western Railway. The formal gazette notification announcing the formation of this new zonal railway was issued on 4th July 2002 by the Ministry of Railway, Govt. of India.Mumbai-Howrah route via Itarsi- Jabalpur in the west east direction and from Mathura (excluding to Nagda (excluding on Delhi-Mumbai route via Ratlam forming a part of one of the important diagonal and side of golden quadrilateral of Indian Railways.

• JBP Division – 884 Posts
• BPL Division – 614 Posts
• KOTA Division – 685 Posts
• WRS KOTA – 160 Posts
• CRWS BPL – 158 Posts
• HQJBP – 20 Posts

Qualification: –

•  The candidate must have passed 10^th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination ystem) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Experience: –  Freshers

Age limit (as on 17.12.2022): – 15-24 years

Age Relaxation:

• Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 03 years in case of OBC candidates.
• For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBDs), upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years (15 year for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC).
• Upper age limit is relaxable by up to additional 10 years for ex-servicemen to the extent of service rendered in Defence Forces plus 03 years provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months service at a stretch, except Ex-servicemen who have already joined the Govt. service on Civil side after availing the servicemen status for the purpose of their engagement.

 Selection Process West Central Railway Recruitment: –

• Selection will be done on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the eligible candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of average marks obtained in 10^th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) plus ITI/Trade marks
