Position :- CNC VMC Programmer Operator 

Qualification :- ITI/Diploma Mechanical Engineering or Similar

Experience :- 3 – 7 years

Job Location :- Mumbai (All Areas)

Salary :- Rs. 2,00,000 – 3,50,000 P.A.

Job Description :-

Roles and Responsibilities:

CNC Programming:

1. • Read technical drawings and set up the VMC machine
   • Use computer software SOLIDWORKS to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
   • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
   • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
   • Consider tools required to cut particular materials
   • Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
   • Nesting of parts for laser cut

Operate VMC machine:

• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Remove burr from parts manufactured.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
• Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
• Maintain inventory of tools, fixtures and accessories in machine shop
• Make entries in ERP system

Desired Candidate Profile:

• ITI/Diploma Mechanical Engineering or Similar
• Tool knowledge
• Experience minimum 3 years in programming / operating VMC machine
• Knowledge of Solidworks CAM
• Knowledge of BFW VMC machine
• Knowledge of how to quickly mill a given job.
• Knowledge of inspection of parts using measuring instruments including vernier caliper, bore gauge, micrometer.
