Organisation Name: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Force was raised on 24 October, 1962. At present, the ITBP guards 3,488 km long India-China borders ranging from the Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, the Force also has important roles in many internal security duties and operations against the Left Wing Extremism in the state of Chhattisgarh.
Most of the ITBP’s Border Out Posts (BOPs) are located at altitudes ranging from 9,000 ft to 18,800 ft where temperatures drop to minus 45 degrees Celsius in extreme winters. ITBP is a specialized Armed Police Force of the Nation which trains its personnel in various disciplines including mountaineering and skiing apart from intensive tactical training, thereby creating a distinctive image of the Force..

- Constable (Barber) – 05 Posts
- Constable (Safai Karamchari) – 101 Posts
- Constable (Gardener) – 37 Posts
Qualification/ Experience:
Constable (Barber & Safai Karamchari):
- Matriculation / 10th Class Pass./ Candidates will have to pass a practical departmental test in the profession.
Constable (Gardener):
- 10th Class Pass./02 years work experience in respective trade (OR) 01 year certificate from ITI / Vocational Institute with at least 01 year experience in the trade (OR) 02 years Diploma from ITI in the trade.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years
Age Relaxation: as per Nome
Salary: Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- (As per 7th CPC).
Job Location: Across India
Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on a Computer Test, Aptitude Test, Document Verification, & Medical Examination.

- 10th class passes from a Recognised Board
- Two years’ work experience in respective trade OR
