NHPC Limited presently has an installation base of 7071.2 MW from 24 power stations including 2 nos projects in JV mode. Considering the impediments faced during execution of these projects such as unfavourable geological conditions, difficult law and order problems, inaccessible and remote locations, the achievement so far is commendable.

NHPC is presently engaged in the construction of 9 projects aggregating to a total installed capacity of 5999 MW which includes 2 hydro electric projects viz., 2000 MW Subansiri Lower HEP and 800 MW Parbati-II HEP and 1 solar Project of 40MW at Odisha  1130 MW are in S&I stage.

• Draughtsman (Civil) – 15 Posts
• Draughtsman (Mech.) – 10 Posts
• Computer Operating & Programming Assistant – 30 Posts
• Secretarial Assistant – 15 Posts
• Stenographer (Hindi) – 08 Posts
• Health Sanitary Inspector – 02 Posts

Qualification: –

• 10TH + ITI Passed (Result awaited candidates should not apply) (Passed out ITI during 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 shall only apply.)

Training Duration: – 1 Years

 Experience: –  Freshers

Age Limit: –

• The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years as on the day of application i.e. on 12.12.2022.
• Relaxation in upper age is admissible as per the Govt of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PH

Salary: – The stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961

NHPC Recruitment Selection Process: –

• Selection of Apprentice Trainees shall be on the basis of Marks secured in ITI. If two or more candidates secure equal marks while preparing merit list, then the candidate of higher age will be considered. List of selected trainees shall be published in career section of nhpcindia.com website. Contract will, however, be generated in respect of the selected candidates on the website www.apprenticeshipindia.org against the applications of the candidates. The information about issue of contract shall automatically be sent to their registered Email-ID. Candidates will be required to ACCEPT the offer in their e-mail as well as SIGN the contract on the website www.apprenticeshipindia.org.
